ONLY TRUE SAVIOUR?

- How can I know and believe it is Jesus?

The question you all seized and you wonder? Questions such as: How can I be sure that Jesus is the only true Savior? Are all religions might but more or less true? Yes, the Bible says that Jesus is the only mediator (1 Timothy 2: 5), but how do I know that the Bible is true? Are the Gospels not merely legends, or a bunch of boiled stories? How can I get honest and clear answers to these questions?

A good place to start is the resurrection of Jesus. If Jesus actually rose from the dead, can we believe him about anything (about salvation, judgment, heaven, hell ...), but if he did not stand it, He is just another one, just another prophet like many others before and after him.

A clear evidence for the resurrection is that the disciples first have doubted. (Matthew 28:17) These disciples who saw Jesus die was afterward so convinced of the resurrection that they were prepared to die for the sake of this fact. Now, no one will invent a lie deliberately to bring yourself in danger no. No, people think lies just to protect themselves! If the disciples themselves Jesus' body had been stolen (as some claim) or knew his body was still in the tomb, they would not moss courage to die for something they themselves know is not true.

"Another indirect proof of the authenticity of the resurrection narratives is precisely the difference between the resurrection reports in the four gospels. If all a nice story was one could suspect that this is an invented story, but now there are so many differences and unique emphases to fit in with an extremely unusual event like someone rising from the dead. Noteworthy also is the fact that the first witnesses of the resurrection were women. Now it would be much of a hindrance to the eyes of first-century readers, for women are not considered reliable witnesses. So the only reason women as witnesses called was because it really happened that way.

Some people, however, are not easily persuaded. They will say, yes all well and good, but the Gospels but legends or nice invented stories?Who the Gospels carefully study will soon realize that they are not legends. Why? 1) Their origin dates are too close to the events they describe to be legends. If it contains untruths would there would be many living persons that could bring discredit the gospels. In Mark's gospel, for example, we find certain people's names as in reference to Simon of Cyrene where specifically stated that he was the father of "Alexander and Rufus". (Mark 15:21) This was well-known people have been in the original reader audience. Anyone would they could ask about the truth of the events. It's a clear indication that we are having to do with verifiable historical reporting. Paul's letters were written even earlier than the gospels, and it also supports the gospels.

2) The content of the Gospels is totally counterproductive to be boiled tales. Think of the cowardice of the disciples and especially the figurehead Peter (his heinous betrayal of God) who is described as clearly and honestly. It would for any movement have been a major embarrassment. No one should be more thought out than it really happened.

Simply read the New Testament with an open mind and you will be the authenticity, honesty and sobriety sense itself. The gospel stories have held no advantage to the first disciples, only disadvantages such as rejection, persecution and death. Why would you think of something that you just anxious misery? Why would you invent something to accentuate your own weakness and infidelity if you then the founders would like to be a man-made religion?

There is another great reason to believe. The gospel is so unique and different from any man-made religion. We are talking about a unique form of omnipotence. God is so powerful that He makes Himself poor in Jesus. Jesus is rejected, abused and crucified. It's all signs of weakness. It's so different from the world's brave heroes and gods and prophets. But precisely in its weakness His power comes to the fore as he by his death and resurrection, the grip of the devil on our break. The gospel is so different from all other religions which is really just a bunch of assignments includes what one must do. The gospel is about what Jesus has done for and on our behalf. The religions of the world is about: Do, do, do, .... The Gospel of Jesus: It's done, it's done, it's done ... . In Jesus' own words: "It is finished!" The more people hear the good news of the gospel, the more you realize it is impossible by not invented one.

SUPERNATURAL Divine Revelation

Let's go back to the original question. How do I know that Jesus is the Son of God and the true Savior? There are many logical reasons (we just looked) but here in Matthew 16 we find the reason. Peter comes to a glorious recognition and understanding as he confessed: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." After Peter made this poignant confession then Jesus answered him ... "Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona," Jesus said to him, "for it is not man who had revealed it to you, but my Father who is in heaven." (17) It is an echo of Jesus' words in 11:25 . "That time Jesus said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou these things from the wise and learned, and hid it revealed them to." Peter had this insight to "flesh and blood" its own family or nation thanks - on the contrary! His insight and his faith is a gift from God. It's a revelation of God that opens your eyes to Jesus, the Light of the world! If he did it for you, thank Him for it, it's only grace!

What about you? Do you already? You wonder if God Himself will reveal to you? It's interesting and encouraging, just after Jesus' statement in Matthew 11:25 referred to above, set up a direct and open invitation to all ... also to YOU! "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest " (Matthew 11:28)

God let your light go up so you can see who his Son and believes in him ...
